Barburi, is a kind of grape, unique to the City of Antakya(Antioch) of Hatay in Turkey, since the ancient ages. Nowadays, its flora is very rare and growth areas are limited to mountain regions and isolated areas. Since 2009, as Antioche Winery, we have found this grape which has the real geographical features and turned it back to life, as a result of our rediscovery and developments in our own vineyard.
Our goal is producing the best wine which will have the best characteristics of the Barburi Grape.
Our first ever commercial bottling is the Antioche Barburi 2016 Wine and it is made of Barburi Grapes in our vineyard.
